Adam is author of Computer-Assisted
Legal Research Unplugged: The User-Friendly Guide to LEXIS-NEXIS and WESTLAW,
Adam is a veteran teacher, writer and consultant on computer-assisted legal research. For many years he taught his own self-designed Advanced Legal Research course at the DePaul University College of Law, as well as courses on legal technology at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and legal research and writing at The John Marshall Law School. Adam has consulted to Shepard's Co. on their citation-based search technology 'CiteFinder', and presented his article on this technology at the American Association of Law Librarians (AALL) conference. He has also advised the US Justice Department on antitrust issues within the online legal research industry. Adam is a '92 graduate of the DePaul College of Law where he served on Law Review. He has been admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Adam now lives in Marin County, CA.
